Center for Clinical Research

The Center for Clinical Research is the Research Institute’s very own dedicated outpatient clinic for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families who have been enrolled in a clinical research project. It has been thoughtfully designed with four private exam rooms, an observation room, four consultation rooms, and an expansive cutting-edge human performance laboratory.

The Center for Clinical Research is located on the ninth floor of the Southwest Tower. The parking structure is located next to the building (shown behind the building in the image above). Study participants and families should park in the Southwest Tower Parking Structure and proceed to the Southwest Tower. If you are running late for your research appointment, please call 714-509-9866 to let our patient services coordinator know or to reschedule.

About The Research Institute
The Research Institute’s mission — to nurture, advance, and protect the health and well-being of children by finding the answers that each child needs to thrive — resonates throughout our new state-of-the-art research facility located on the ninth floor of the Southwest Tower. Roughly 29,000 square feet in size, the floor triples our current research footprint at the Rady Children’s Health campus in Orange County and adds important new abilities.

The ninth floor is divided into two key service areas — laboratories, where new knowledge and treatments may be generated and explored, and the Center for Clinical Research, where study participants may be seen in space designed specifically to support study-specific visits. This new facility will not only support our growing number of researchers, scientists, and partners but also serve to stimulate the creation of new academic and industry partnerships which all have the same solitary mission — to accelerate novel and innovative ideas into practice for patients at Rady Children’s Health and beyond.
