New Series!
The Fly Together Sibling Sessions at Thompson Autism & Neurodevelopmental Center at Rady Children’s Health is a sibling connect group designed for the neurotypical siblings of children with autism and neurodevelopmental diagnoses. It aims to provide support to those who face emotional challenges and may sometimes feel overlooked. This group is also designed to help siblings connect with other children who have neurodiverse siblings, fostering friendships, understanding, and a sense of community.
The Thompson Autism & Neurodevelopmental Center is proud to partner with the Anaheim Ducks Foundation by launching another series of the Fly Together Sibling Sessions!
Each session welcomes the siblings, ages 8-14, for a morning of fun, connection, and recognition, all inspired by collaboration with the Anaheim Ducks.
Activities will include:
- Team Huddle welcome circle
- Chalk Talk group discussions
- Goal Getter Games for active play
- Celebrating each sibling’s unique strengths
- Power Play Zone for hands-on creativity
- Lock Room Lounge- a place for caregivers to connect and recharge
Itinerary:
- 8:30am- Light Breakfast Together
- 9:00am- Siblings Playtime & Parent/Caregiver Retreat
