Dr. Vivi Tran, DO, is a board-certified pediatrician at Los Alamitos Pediatric Medical Group in Los Alamitos, California, specializing in the health and well-being of children. Practicing in Los Alamitos since 2019, she provides comprehensive, family-centered care for infants, children and teens.
Dr. Tran grew up in San Jose, CA and graduated from UCLA in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in physiology and a minor in Asian American studies. Subsequently she earned her medical degree at Touro University, California College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016 while simultaneously completing a master’s degree in community public health. She then completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson in 2019.
After residency, she returned to Orange County, which she considers to be her second home, and joined Los Alamitos Pediatrics. She considers it to be a privilege to be able to see kids of all ages, watch them grow, and work with their families to help them stay healthy. She is also fluent in Vietnamese.
Dr. Tran is particularly passionate about preventative health, nutrition, and community advocacy. As a member of the Rady Children’s Health Primary Care Network, she is part of a nationally recognized pediatric health system to deliver coordinated care and streamline access to specialty care and additional services when necessary.
Dr. Tran lives in Long Beach. During her free time, she enjoys cooking for her family and friends, exploring new restaurants, going to the beach, and training for half and full marathons. She especially enjoys running the Long Beach, Huntington Beach, and Orange County races annually.
