Elizabeth Tolbert, Physician Assistant

Elizabeth Tolbert, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant who cares for infants, kids, and teens with a wide variety of neurological conditions in Orange County. She has particular interest in neonatal neurology, epilepsy, and neuromuscular conditions.

Liz has always had special interest in neurology as she received her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from the University of Nevada, Reno where she also participated in research in neurology studying the visual cortex and visual processing. She continued to develop her passion for pediatric neurology through rotations at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Miller Children’s, before completing her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Chapman University in Orange.

Liz is now an asset to our neurology team as she provides care for our children with neurologic conditions both within the hospital as well as in outpatient neurology clinic. Her ability to transition between settings allows our patients and families to have appropriate continuity of care throughout their time with CHOC.

In her free time, Liz enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping and boating on the lake. She is also an active participant in the country line dance community and hopes to encourage more people to participate in dancing as a healthy and fun way to exercise.
