Dr. Tavleen Bhatia is a pediatric gastroenterologist with expertise in caring for infants, children and young adults with a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders. Her philosophy of care is to use a holistic, compassionate, and partnered approach with patients and families. Her clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic esophagitis and pancreatic diseases.
She completed her medical school at Manipal University in India prior to moving to United States. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Saint Peter’s University Hospital (affiliate of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia) and fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at State University at Buffalo, NY. She has published several peer reviewed articles in reputable journals in the field of gastroenterology. She has served on several national interest groups and committees within North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) and continues to play an active role within NASPGHAN and American academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
