Dr. Villa graduated from medical school from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in 2013. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in 2016. She started working at CHOC in February 2018 and has enjoyed working primarily at Clinica CHOC Para Niños. She is also an associate professor at the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Villa is passionate about social determinants of health, mental and oral health of patients and is active in Quality Improvement and Advocacy projects. She is motivated by the belief that we are all more alike than different, that families all want and deserve a safe place to live and grow and that by supporting our families, Pediatricians can best help children to grow.
