Dr. Carlos A. Martinez, Pediatrics

Dr. Carlos Martinez, MD, is a board-certified general pediatrician dedicated to promoting preventive health and lifelong wellness in children and adolescents. He has been practicing medicine since 2009.

Dr. Martinez has a strong interest in evidence based preventive health strategies and helping children build healthy habits that support lifelong wellness. His approach focuses on promoting balanced nutrition, physical activity, healthy sleep, emotional well-being, and positive lifestyle choices through every stage of childhood and adolescence. He is passionate about partnering with families to encourage healthy development, prevent illness, and support children in reaching their full potential.

As a member of the Rady Children’s Health Primary Care Network, he is part of a nationally recognized pediatric health system to deliver coordinated care and streamline access to specialty care and additional services when necessary.
Dr. Martinez is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
