Dr. Alex Gorab is a board-certified pediatrician, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She has special interests in newborn and infant care, acute illness, nutrition and weight management, and puberty.
Dr. Gorab graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Science. She attended medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine where she received the Pediatrics Award in her graduating class. Dr. Gorab then completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she received the teaching award. After completing residency, she joined a highly regarded private practice in Washington, DC, where she worked for 3 years prior to joining Orange Doctors of Kids and Teens in 2023.
“I believe in caring for the whole child and family,” Dr. Gorab says. “I want to help families raise physically and emotionally healthy children by being comprehensive from day one.”
