Dr. Angela Allevato, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at Allevato Pediatrics in Orange, California, specializing in the health and well-being of children. Practicing in Orange since 1993, she provides comprehensive, family-centered care for babies, kids and teens from 0 to 17 years of age. Dr. Allevato opened her solo practice, Allevato Pediatrics, in 2005.
Dr. Allevato is particularly passionate about preventative care, child development, nutrition, educating parents about routine childhood vaccines, as well as diagnosing and treating diseases. As a member of the Rady Children’s Health Primary Care Network, she is part of a nationally recognized pediatric health system to deliver coordinated care and streamline access to specialty care and additional services when necessary.
Dr. Allevato has always been drawn to caring for children and was initially on the path to becoming an elementary school teacher with a bachelor’s degree in child development at Cal State Fullerton. She made a career goal change in college when she discovered her new calling: Pediatrics. She went on to complete a second bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and never looked back. She loves her vocation as a pediatric physician and believes that caring for our community’s children is an honor and a privilege.
She is affiliated with the American Board of Pediatrics and Providence St. Joseph Affiliated Physicians. Dr. Allevato has received several awards, including the Physician of Excellence Award from the Orange County Medical Association in 2014 and 2023, and Pediatrician of the Year from St. Joseph Hospital Affiliated Physicians in 2009 and 2013.
