Child Life Internship and Practicum

Thank you for your interest in our student programs! PLEASE NOTE: Due to staffing changes and unforeseen circumstances, unfortunately we are not able to offer child life student programming (both internship and practicum) for Winter/Spring of 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to welcoming students back starting in the Summer and then Fall of 2025.

For intern applications, please click the link under internship deadlines for information and then email your Internship Readiness Common Application to clinternship@choc.org. Please use this email for internship questions. Please note that as of Fall 2022 we will only be accepting practicum students from institutions we are already contracted with, including: Azusa Pacific University, Loma Linda University, University of La Verne, Cal State University, Long Beach, and Cal State University, Fullerton. We are unable to take unaffiliated practicum students. Our internship will continue to accept both affiliated and unaffiliated students. Please see deadlines below.
