Dr. Reshmi Basu, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at Pediatric and Adult Medicine in Tustin, CA, specializing in the health and well-being of children. Practicing since 2009, she provides comprehensive, family-centered care for infants, children and teens. Dr. Basu also visits newborns at Providence St. Joseph’s in Orange.
As a member of the Rady Children’s Health Primary Care Network, Dr. Basu is part of a nationally recognized pediatric health system to deliver coordinated care and streamline access to specialty care and additional services when necessary.
Dr. Basu has been involved with the American Academy of Pediatrics Orange County Chapter as an executive board member since 2017, including serving as President from 2023-2025. She also participates in multiple leadership committees at Rady Children’s Health (formerly CHOC). She has been involved in bringing new developmental screening and trauma informed care initiatives to Orange County through her work in child advocacy.
She chose pediatrics because she has always been amazed by the great resiliency of children, and has completed training as a Resiliency Coach.
