Dr. Nael is a board-certified pediatric pathologist who identifies diseases in kids and adolescents at CHOC. He serves as Assistant Medical Director of CHOC Pathology Department. He is an Associate Professor at the University of California Irvine Medical School. Dr. Nael received his Medical Degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in Iran. He completed his Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology residency at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. Dr. Nael completed his Pediatric Pathology Fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and completed his Hematopathology Fellowship at University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Nael oversees training for CHOC Pathology residents and fellows.
