Changes to our Orange campus
You may notice some changes around our Orange campus in the coming weeks. We’ll be updating building names and signs and adding colors to help people find the building they need.
When Children’s Hospital of Orange County and Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego came together, we became Rady Children’s Health. Soon, you’ll begin to see Rady Children’s Health Orange County on buildings and signs.
As we update our name, we’re also using color to identify key locations. You’ll see new paint and kid-friendly touches, including Choco the bear, across the following buildings:
- Hospital (Bill Holmes Tower), 1201 W, La Veta Ave.: Blue Tower
- Southwest Tower, 555 S. Main St.: Purple Tower
- Commerce Tower, 505 S. Main St.: Green Tower
- Centrum North, 1120 W. La Veta Ave.: Orange Tower
- Clinic Building/Research Tower, 455 S. Main St.: Yellow Tower
These updates will take a few months to complete, so you may see both old and new names and signs during this time. If you’re not sure where to go, please ask a team member for help. You can find more details and a campus map here.
Thank you for your patience as we make these updates. We look forward to welcoming you to our Orange campus.
What you need to know:
- Beginning in September 2026, color decals will begin to appear on building entrances and parking structures.
- During the transition, you’ll see a mix of current building names and new color designations as various signs are updated.
