Hospital Equity Measures Report
CHOC Hospital Equity Measures Report (AB 1204)
CHOC is committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and equitable care for every child and family we serve. As part of this commitment—and in alignment with California’s Assembly Bill 1204—we share annual data on key quality measures to help us better understand patient experiences and identify opportunities to improve.
Each year, we report on:
- Willingness to Recommend from our pediatric patient experience survey
- All-cause unplanned 30-day readmission rates
- Differences in outcomes across groups such as age, race/ethnicity, language, and payor type
- Our equity action plan to address the top disparities identified
This report reflects our ongoing effort to listen, learn, and respond to the needs of our diverse patient community—so every family has equitable access, support, and opportunity to be their healthiest selves.
