Mental Health Education Program
Get tips, news and resources about pediatric mental health delivered to your inbox monthly.
As a parent, you want the very best for your child’s mental health. Yet with the pressures and uncertainties kids face today, it can be hard to know how to support them. CHOC’s Mental Health Education Program (MHEP) provides families with the knowledge and skills they need to support their youth’s mental health. Our team of expert clinicians offers:
- Free parenting workshops
- Online guides on popular mental health topics
- Videos on coping and stress relief for children and teens
These educational resources are not intended to replace a child’s professional mental healthcare, but to supplement it — providing families with practical tips, tools, and support all in one place. Visit choc.org/mentalhealth.
If you’re interested in partnering with MHEP, please complete our interest form here.

MHEP Events and Webinars
CHOC’s Mental Health Education Program (MHEP) and our team of pediatric mental health specialists have provided hundreds of educational sessions to thousands of community members, including youth, parents, educators and providers.
MHEP Video Libraries
Help your child build healthy coping skills with our step-by-step video guides in our Mental Health Video Library. To further support families, MHEP partnered with CHOC’s Family Resource Center to curate a collection of mental-health – focused books, which you can explore in the Health and Healing Library.
