Dr. Timothy D. Hicks is a pediatric pulmonologist who treats infants, children, and teenagers with a wide range of respiratory tract diseases. Dr. Hicks believes in viewing patients as people, not just patients, and treating them as such. He works to align goals of care with patients and families and believes in a team approach to patient care.
His interests include asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, aerodigestive disorders, and bronchoscopy. He grew up in Tustin, CA, so is an Orange County native. He completed medical school at Poznan University of Medical Sciences before finishing his internship and pediatric residency at the University of California, Irvine, and Children’s Hospital Orange County combined program. After finishing pediatric residency, he stayed an extra year as a chief resident at the UCI/CHOC program. He then completed his pediatric pulmonology subspecialty training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Outside of medicine, he enjoys the outdoors, sports, running, but mostly spending time with his family.
