Dr. Hillary Zieve, Pediatrics

Dr. Zieve is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the CHOC Medical Group treating kids and teens in Orange County. Dr. Zieve practices general pediatrics at CHOC Clínica Para Niños and CHOC Boys and Girls Club Clinic in Santa Ana, CA. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Irvine, within the Department of Pediatrics as an Associate Program Director of the UC Irvine/CHOC Pediatric Residency Program.

Dr. Zieve received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Medical Anthropology at the University of Southern California. She then received her Medical Degree from UC Irvine School of Medicine. She completed residency and served as a Chief Resident at the UC Irvine/CHOC pediatric residency program. She is a past board member of the AAP Orange County Chapter 4 and was awarded the AAP-OC’s Young Pediatrician of the year in 2019.

Dr. Zieve is the co-founder and UC Irvine faculty mentor of Team KiPOW OC, a school-based, behavioral change program which mentors students in Title 1 schools about nutrition and physical activity.

Dr. Zieve is the co-creator of CHOC’s Feeding the Future nutrition course for newborns to two-years-olds.

Dr. Zieve is passionate about medical education, primary care, preventative medicine, and more specifically pediatric obesity management, nutrition, and healthy weight loss.
