Welcome to the UCI Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program, and thank you for your interest. The program is a two-year, fully accredited fellowship that provides training across a wide range of clinical settings. Our fellows get a wide breadth of training at various clinical sites: the inpatient adolescent unit at UCI, the inpatient child unit at CHOC, consult/liaison opportunities on the inpatient pediatrics wards at CHOC, outpatient clinics at UCI, county mental health clinics, the Thompson Autism and Neurodevelopmental Center at CHOC, and many more.
Our faculty members are committed to trainee education, and we foster a collegial, supportive environment that promotes growth. Graduates of the program are prepared to care for children and adolescents with a broad range of psychiatric conditions, including complex cases.
Our program offers two tracks: a categorical track, which enrolls four fellows each year, and a research track, which enrolls one fellow each year.
