Benefits of the CHOC Primary Care Network

CHOC has partnered with community pediatric practices throughout the region. This means that you get the same high-quality care you expect from CHOC for all your child’s general pediatric needs at a convenient location near you. Key features of the CHOC Primary Care Network include:

  • Enhanced medical record system
  • All providers in the CHOC health system have access to one patient record
  • The single-care record helps eliminate duplicate tests or communication issues among providers
  • All CHOC providers use the same evidence-based guidelines for common conditions such as asthma, bronchiolitis, pneumonia, headaches, gastroenteritis and acne
  • These evidence-based guidelines are integrated right into the medical record, giving pediatricians direct access to CHOC treatment plans based on your child’s age
  • Pediatricians can also show these guidelines to parents, as well as track care and medications, so everyone involved in your child’s treatment knows which actions have been taken.
