That’s why at CHOC, our multidisciplinary craniofacial team includes nurses, geneticists, plastic surgeons, oral maxillofacial surgeons, neurosurgeons, otolaryngologists, pediatric dentists, craniofacial orthodontists, speech and language pathologists, audiologists, dietitians, psychologists and social workers.
Our well coordinated multidisciplinary team allows for routine follow-up visits, to monitor your child’s development and ensure they meet specific age-based milestones. When intervention is necessary, we work closely with families to efficiently carry out a plan that is sensitive to a child’s needs so you can be sure your child is receiving the best care possible.
