Diana Lerner, Nurse Practitioner

Diana Lerner is nationally board-certified nurse practitioner and an asthma educator with a passion for pediatrics. She began her career at CHOC 19 years ago as a clinical nurse, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at University of Arizona. After finishing her master’s degree at California State University at Long Beach, Diana transitioned to a hospitalist nurse practitioner role on the same unit where she worked as a nurse for many years. For the past 5 years, she has been taking care of critically ill patients in the pediatric intensive care unit. Diana is currently working on her doctorate degree as she pursues process improvements in her unit and throughout the organization.
