Managing the Mental Health of Children with Chronic Disease

At the conclusion of the 3-hour motivational interviewing workshop, the participant should be able to:

• Implement at least 2 strategies to communicate with either school, physician, or mental health provider
• Develop at least 2 processes to guide transition of child from pediatric care to adult care
• Identify at least 2 treatment or support resources for children with chronic illness

Target Audience
Pediatricians, clinicians, and any other professional who care for the mental health of children and teens are invited to attend.
