CHOC is happy to present you with our Parent Advice Line (PAL). This automated service provides you with immediate information on children’s health topics when you need it: 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

This information is intended to supplement information provided to you by your pediatrician or family physician.

To use PAL, simply call (714) 912-8927, enter the four-digit topic numbers listed on this web page, or stay on the line for a complete listing of topics.

Useful tips:

• If you would like to back up to the beginning of the message you are currently listening to, press the 2 key (B for Back up)
• If you would like to go to a different message than the one you are currently listening to, press the 4 key (G for Go)
• If you would like to jump to the next message in the category, press the 5 key (J for Jump)
• If you would like to repeat the message you have just heard, press the 7 key (R for Repeat)
• If you make an error while entering a code, press the pound # key before entering the fourth digit to begin again. To end the call, press #.
