- CHOC at Mission Hospital – which operates as a hospital-within-a-hospital in Mission Viejo — is the only dedicated children’s hospital in south Orange County. Children are admitted directly to CHOC Mission from the emergency department at Mission Hospital, if needed.
- CHOC Mission features a 22-bed, Level 3 NICU where we provide critical care for infants. Our neonatal care teams are able to be present during high-risk births at Mission Hospital.
