Dr. Allan Akerman, Gynecology

Dr. Allan Akerman received his MD degree from the Universidad Pontificia Javeriana in Columbia. He completed his Internship and Residency at the Flushing Hospital Medical Center in New York. Dr.Akerman did a Visiting Fellow Research at the Center of Reproductive Medicine and Infertility at the Weill Medical School, Cornell University in New York.

The doctor is Board Certified by the American Board of OB/GYN and is fluent in Spanish.

Among Dr. Akerman’s honors is the ‘Best Teaching Resident 2003 Award’. He is a member of the American Board of OB/GYN, the California Medical Association and the Orange County Medical Association.

An active volunteer, Dr. Akerman is part of a team of enthusiastic physicians and volunteers participating in Medical Missions in developing and Third World Countries.
