Learning Objectives:
After this lecture the healthcare professional should be able to manage:
- Children 0-4 years with recurrent wheezing triggered by viral URI.
- Children 4 years and older with moderate to severe persistent asthma with SMART therapy as preferred treatment for step 3 or 4 therapy.
- Children 12 years and older with mild persistent asthma with as needed inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) and short acting beta2-agonist (SABA).
Accreditation CHOC is accredited by the California Medical Association (CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
CHOC designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in this live activity.
