CHOC is pleased to introduce our Virtual Pediatric Lecture Series. This series is part of our continued commitment to bring the latest, most relevant medical news to community providers. All sessions, unless otherwise noted, are eligible for CME credit.

Typhus, a re-emerging infectious disease, poses unique diagnostic and management challenges for healthcare providers. This lecture will focus on recognizing the signs and symptoms of murine typhus, evaluating risk based on exposure history, and utilizing laboratory data to guide clinical decisions. Attendees will gain practical knowledge to distinguish cases requiring hospital referral from those manageable in outpatient settings, equipping them to improve patient outcomes through timely and accurate interventions.
