KIM'S STORY

A teenager who has lost her hair during chemotherapy treatments. A newborn with a scar on his chest from life-saving open-heart surgery. A child who is battling Type 2 diabetes. These are some of the many faces of Children's Hospital of Orange County. But there is also a face to represent the 3,000 members of the CHOC family, who live and breathe CHOC's mission to nurture, advance and protect the health and well-being of children, day in and day out.

As CHOC's president and CEO, Kimberly Cripe epitomizes those who work tirelessly to ensure that every child in Orange County has access to the most compassionate and innovative care available. With dedicated doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers throughout the CHOC health system, Orange County parents can sleep a little better, knowing Kim and her team are available 24 hours a day, right in their backyards.
