American Publishers Heart, Children's Miracle Network Announce Goal to Raise $250,000 for Children's Hospitals Through Magazine Subscription Sales in July
American Publishers Hearst has declared July “Miracle Magazine Month” as a fundraising initiative for Children's Miracle Network, an international non-profit organization that raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals, including Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). American Publishers Hearst hopes to raise $250,000 through subscription sales.

Children’s Hospital of Orange County Receives Federal Award to Derive Embryonic Stem Cells from Adult Cells
Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) just received a one-of-a-kind funding award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This award establishes CHOC as having the first federally-funded training grant to receive additional federal funding to incorporate new embryonic stem cell derivation technology as part of its training curriculum. This curriculum is a critical adjunct to the NIH's recent stem cell initiative that will fund new research grants that propose to use this new technology.

CHOC Celebrates the Opening of its New Ambulatory Care Center, including the Disneyland Resort® Main Lobby
Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) recently honored the Disneyland Resort® and the hospital’s family of supporters for their role in generously funding construction of the CHOC Ambulatory Care Center, which houses primary and specialty care clinics on the hospital's Orange campus.
